In "BLANK of Love", I would've said, "Sea".

Damn, that final match was a hard one. Richard and Gene rattled off a bunch of good answers and they didn't even get to the one I had in my head... "fine wine."

Strike and strike out should have matched! That was petty, they've matched more far fetched answers than that! These judges drive me nuts!

Instantly when I thought of flashing lights and bells I thought of a version of Fanny’s answer: “a casino”

Same here. I suspect that the answer was less common in their thoughts because at the time there were a lot fewer legal casinos in the US. It used to be extremely limited outside of Atlantic City and Las Vegas and even Vegas was nothing compared to its current form.

@@joeambrose3260 I remember these tiny little places in my neighborhood in the early 80s. You'd never get to play because some guy always had 20 quarters laid out on the machine letting you know he planned to be there for hours.

@@pencils812 good afternoon Sam, yes he usually comes up with some Patti Deutsche style answers, alot of people comment that they don't like her quirkiness because she's supposed to be matching the contestants, boo effing hoo

They need to bring the minister back, because when he said, strike other words, you could use strike out, these judges really screwed them over

"...lights were flashing and bells were ringing cause we spent our honeymoon in a...casino". Ms. Fannie was close with slot machine but I think casino was better. No one said book of love...as in "and I wonder, wonder who..da da...who wrote the book of love." Oh man, the big money question was hard. All I could think of was "fine brown frame". Bummer that Julia didn't...get the money, Mama.
