Shocking umpiring. There were a few bad calls against geelong but way more worse calls were paid against the hawks in that last quarter (geelong fan). Good game but well deserved hawks, pretty poor defending on the cats behalf.

All the Geelong supporters are going on about the deliberate out of bounds and the “throw” in the last minute but what about all those holding the balls and high tackles that got paid to Geelong and not Hawthorn, Geelong only got about 1 call against them in the last 5 minutes and all those holding the balls that weren’t paid were bullshit. So Geelong supporters stop finding excuses about the deliberate out of bounds and the throw when there were about 6 throws from you guys that weren’t called and the incorrect disposals. Yet you complain about 3 calls to about our 10 in the last 5 minutes. Maybe you guys are just salty that surprisingly your god midfield couldn’t beat ours.

Maybe Hawthorn need to learn to keep a bloody lead and stop been complacent as soon as Geelong and other teams turned up the pressure in the 4th Quarter, free kicks or not. Ever thought about that. Good or bad umpiring shouldn't remotely matter when you are 24 points up. Hawthorn very simply should have kept that lead and played better defensively. This seems be a big trait with Hawthorn in general. Getting good leads at 3 Quarter Time and then been complacent and allowing the opposition to come back in the 4th Quarter when they turned up the pressure and change the momentum of the game. 2011 PL Final. Had a good lead against Collingwood and should have went to that Grand Final instead of them to face Geelong. Instead, got complacent, crumbled under Collingwood's pressure and allowed them back into the game. 2012 PL. Again had a good lead against Adelaide and easily should have held them off. Instead, got complacent, crumbled under Adelaide's pressure and allowed them back into the game. 2014 PL. Once again had a good lead against Port Adelaide and easily should have held them off. Instead got complacent, crumbled under their pressure and allowed them back into the game.
