As a Sydney supporter all I can say is congrats Adelaide, they had all the good players out and still managed to perform. Only 2 explanations for the Sydney loss, midfield was shocking, and if you watch any swans matches you’d know their midfield is one of the best, and also missing opportunities. Could’ve won in the final 10 minutes, we had the last 7 scoring shots (2.5) and just couldn’t put it through, Adelaide did well and they deserved the win.

Daniel Jarmann Adelaide also had the first 5 and scored 0.5. 4.9 in first quarter, the same amount of shots as the whole Collingwood game.

I can't say that I am surprised by this result. Adelaide were pitiful last week, Sydney got away with a win against the Bulldogs which they probably didn't deserve, Tex Walker in particular was savaged all week in the media about his team's performance last week, and any decent team is always going to come out and respond to that sort of criticism. My thoughts prior to this match were that it was a perfect recipe for a Crows' upset, and so this has proven to be the case.

Darren Miles-Morland I half agree, last week the bulldogs Sydney match could’ve gone either way, bulldogs played okay but missed opportunities, they didn’t deserve to win because they played bad infront of goals, you can say those puppies worked hard and did well but Sydney were cleaner. But who cares about that match, what im concerned about is Sydney, that midfield hasn’t never played like that ever, but I give props to the, they almost still ended up winning.

Daniel Jarmann, unfortunately almost doesn't cut it. You can lose by 1 goal, 2 goals, or 15 goals. At the end of the day you have lost, and no matter what excuses that you make you still haven't gotten the 4 points. Adelaide wanted it more, they deserved it more as well.

Wayne Carey saying people got into Tex Walker after only one poor game - well that's not true. he was rightly criticised for a bad start to the year which added to his poor finals campaign, including the GF, in 2017. Add to that his call before the finals to Dangerfield that chose to miss out on a flag that season and he really did deserve his wack. To his credit, he responded fantastically well tonight, now to keep it up when the going isn't as good.

Had the Swans not been so shocking in front of goals we might have actually managed to beat the Crows. Props to those Crows players in the fluro green though, easily their best players that night. Buddy was held in every contest and was given nothing yet Tex would sneeze and get a free for it.

Zap the great no way, bulldogs get most free kicks out of whole competition, they were leading it by a solid 30 in 2016. But Sydney should’ve had more free kicks coz if the home grind advantage but it wasn’t case, at one point I think it was 2-7 in favour of Adelaide but as I said it doesn’t matter, we didn’t deserve it anyway, not sure how we even hung in there tbh.
