If my memory is good i remember chelsea beating utd twice that season 1-0 on both occasions maybe peacock or spencer scoring.....but it didnt matter of course as utd won the league and FA CUP......beating CHELSEA 4-0 in the cup final..... Great times great footy.....

This was the last pay on the gate away game for United. Our end was full and gates were shut at about 1pm so a couple of hundred of us went on the Shed and eventually the stewards and the police rounded us up and marched us down to the away end.

I was there that day and remember the police telling the United fans outside to go home as their end was full... was probably then the 10 year old me realised how big a club United were. Great win for us though!
