Such a great interview. I watch/ listen to it often. Lee is engaging even if you’re listening to his interviews for the 20th time. 😅 Well done Ray. I’ve never heard to truth about Augusta from Lee like that. Remember when the mini bar was free in hotels? And other free things like soap and bath robes? I believe it was Cliff Roberts and Augusta that changed all that in the 60’s when they started charging for everything including toothpicks …..eventually “charging for everything” caught on to mainstream corporate owned hotels

I love Lees story of the St Andrews Hotel. He called room service for a slice of pie with ice cream. The waitress said Sir... Are you sure??! . Waiter was laughing when he bought it up. Thing is in Scotland we eat steak pie not so much blueberry pie. He didn't know he started eating Steak pie with ice cream.

I wish Lee was my grand father.... !!!! I love him so much. He's right about "the guy with less moving parts" when it comes to pressure situations.. ... That's how you win when playing for money (it comes down to mechanics)

Thanks for telling us the truth about the Masters. They should be ashamed. A great course and a great championship but they are too big for their boots. Lee you are not the only pro golfer they pissed off through the years. Good luck. Your the best.

Anyone know of any Trevino interview on his gambling match with Ray Floyd in mid 60's? Would enjoy candid details from Lee.

Absolutely, he's terrible. The best interviewers ask clear, concise questions and let the subject speak and complete their thoughts before another question is asked.

Trevino was going to say more about the greens when he got on tour. But the A-HOLE interrupted him, so we'll never know what legendary commentary Lee was about to give. Ray Adams destroyer of History - ass

In those days Lee couldn’t use his own caddy. They all had to use the Augusta caddies.

This year's US Open champion could buy 45 nice homes in 1968 with today's winner's share. Trevino could have bought half a nice home with his winning share in 1968. Explains why today's golfers are such bores and rarely repeat.

Lot of misinformation here. He didn't start playing at 19. He was already a 5 hcp by the time he joined the marines.

None of the old timers and winners of Masters. Will ever say anything bad of Augusta country club. They were a racist club and im sure were kicking and screaming until they couldnt to allow african american pros play in Master, and also join the club, with woman

@@ScratchArkkitehti Really? Probably not many people loved him. When a human has strong bias to some people, he must be hated by many others at the same time. I like Lee Trevino in that he must been suffered sometimes in golf world, but he has a good positive mind and created a harmony in the society.
