10 of those goals we conceded were in the first game that was a shit show defensively and the palace game that was a dead rubber. So actually take out that one newcastle result and we were pretty close to their defence while scoring a fair few

Yeah, I’ve mentioned that before. I guess defensively our biggest issue was set pieces. Hopefully that improves this year! UTV!

Regarding our starting 11, I would drop mcginn and start philogene maybe teilmens for barkley too against his home club. Mcginn played the full 90 in both scotland defeats and it would have took a toll both physically and mentally. philogene on the other hand dropped out of the under 21 england team so if he is over his knock should be in much better shape

Good point, Carl. I always assume Emery will start McGinn, but Philogene could well be the man on the right this weekend. I have a feeling he could be key against Everton. UTV!
