Ok I've seen this before though. Pencil is really having a hard time moving forward, trying to cling onto the past. I would know because I went through circumstances that affected me greatly, and I feel like it drove me to the point of insanity, trying to fix things and whatnot.

Yeah me too, I was really scared of moving on to the future. Because me and my friends all went to a different school, and the three of them were still together, and I was the only one (In our friend group) not going to the school everyone else was going to. So we stopped seeing each other, but we would still play games together. But, after a while, two of my friends started to change and they became really toxic. Every time I would try to talk about my feelings with them, they would just tell me to shut up and deal with it like the rest of us and put on my big boy pants (which hurt a little because I'm nonbinary.) And a little side note, at the time, I didn't have any other friends, they were all I got. And because of that, I became very depressed. I knew they were toxic, but I didn't want to let go of them. They were all I had, and they reminded me of the past, when I was happy, when I just got to have fun and school wasn't so hard. Eventually I made new friends, people who actually care for me. And I dropped my toxic friends, it was kind of hard though because out of the three of them, Zeo (Not his real name) was the only nice one. He listened to me just talk, and he overall just made me feel better. Zeo is still friends with the other two, which I don't mind, they actually treated Zeo nicely unlike me, so Zeo didn't really have any reasons to stop being friends with them. But is it kind of awkward when me and Zeo are playing a game and one of the two join, but I haven't talked to the other one, but Bird (I ran out of good fake names) actually respected my choice and says it was probably the best for me. I haven't been getting better, so I have been trying to spread positivity around KZbin. Whenever I would see art, I would compliment the artist, whenever someone's going through a hard time, I would leave a little comment hoping they get better. I have a theory My theory is that Sam wants Pencil to go to the upside down city as soon as possible. Maybe it's important she's there for future plot convenience? What if Sam is intentionally making Pencil unlikable so that people start hating her and vote her off first chance she gets? Then she's in the city and able to do whatever she needs to do. I've heard people say that she's crazy because she's been in the EXIT for 6 years, but I don't buy that. What about Firey Jr? He seemed totally fine in the cabin. Well no shit, at least those characters have someone else to interact with when they were eliminated. Pencil was trapped in the EXIT for almost 7 years. It took less time for Flower to go insane and Woody to die from a heart attack after they got trapped in the TLC.

Not to mention liy had basically nobody that she felt any positive feelings towards, and yet she turned out fine. Even bracelety and David were friends with pencil.

You know, I always did wonder what happened that made Book and Ice Cube want to separate from Pencil. Like I get in BFB they said that the team was "unhealthy for us" and that Pencil treated those 2 badly in BFDIA, but I feel like there is something big that would happen that cause this split to happen.

Pencil was literally the first exitor, and spent SEVEN YEARS IN THE EXIT, i honestly can't blame her sudden change of behaviour, spending 7 years in an algebra doing algebra NONSTOP andhaving to be looking for supplies to get out of there FOUR YEARS OF THESE SEVEN YEARS is honestly sometime i would go absolutelly nuts for.
