Enjoyed the video Tyrone. Liked more about this mix than I didn't t. El cameno, Ntl.Parks backhoe, and65 ford with shell advert. Were highlights for me. At the top were the 911 and 918 Porsche s.I'm a Porsche guy at heart. In 1983 I owned a brand new 944 ,S, turbo, red with black interrior. It was beautiful. Had the extra wide rear,and sported some wide tires. Took 1 st place in a car show for best current production. Those were the days Tyrone. Happy Sunday to you. Stay safe.....Bill

The red Cargo Truck had a variation with all the boxes on the bed and one with no load. Maybe that's why you thought your other one looked different. Maybe the blue one also has the two variations. That's a very nice haul! I can't wait to find some of these!

Nice range of cars and trucks. In saying this i found the kurtis sports car, the recoloured nissan pickup and the opening parts gen 2 land rover moving parts pickup. The last one is hard to find so getting it was a bonus.

Still trying to acquire some of the models from this release for my collection, but I have most of the ones I wanted. It seems every year matchbox releases one particular case that just has a bunch of great castings in it, last year I’d say it was the one with the McLaren 720s, Toyota MR2, Mercedes Benz shooting brake, and so on. I’d say this case could be “the” case for 2022. Nice to see the Tacoma return, love the Alfa in blue, the Golf in silver, the green Porsche, and those new castings, hard to decide if the 918 or the LS400 is my favorite. Guess I’ll have to decide once I finally get them into my hands.

Great vid. Just a note, the Toyota Tacoma is our SMALLER pickup, the Tundra competes with the Ford F-Series. Also, I hate that they list the Honda Civic as CVCC, when based on the the nose and hood, it is a NON-CVCC version.

The Toyota Tacoma is a 1/4 ton .you thought it was equall to a f250. But no Toyotas are these days.the tundra is the full size half ton. They dont make a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton yet. .love the new castings. And alot of the old ones.

The reflectivity of the new Porsche casting looks almost like ZAMAC. I wish they wouldn't have put that tent on the Toyota Tacoma so we could get an interior instead. It's a casting I probably wouldn't care about anyway except they put the TRD racing livery on it so I kind of want this release. The design of the modern Alfa Romeo Giulia was overseen by Philippe Krief, head of research and development for Ferrari, so it's one of those "Ferrari in spirit" castings like the older Alfa Romeo 8C (though I think the Matchbox 8C casting was first produced when Mattel still had the master Ferrari license despite not having put Ferrari in Matchbox since around 2005). I love the first generation Honda Civic CVCC casting and it looks good in red (wish they'd do it baby blue, which seemed to be the most common Civic colour in the Montreal area when I was a little kid). The CVCC acronym means "Compound Vortex Controlled Combustion" engine, first offered on the Civic in 1974 according to Wikipedia, and is probably intentionally close to how "Civic" is spelled. I also like that Lexus because it looks like a sedan from my teen years. I wish Mattel would do a circa 1992 Hyundai Sonata like the one my parents had in black before they upgraded to a Pontiac Grand Am and then another Hyundai Sonata. If I saw a 9-pack with several of these in it, especially both Porsches, I'd probably go for it since it is cheaper than buying the cars individually at Canadian Walmarts (unlike Hot Wheels 9/10 packs).

Oooh…that’s why this Alfa Romeo looks so hot! 🤷‍♂️😍 That’s interesting. I’d bet we’ll see the Honda in baby blue because it was one of this car’s more popular factory colours. It would look great next to the white one and the mustard yellow one. Hyundai won’t let MB do any of their cars anytime soon IMO, but I’d like to see the old Sonata as a Matchbox car. 🤞🦘👍
