The Frontera has its name printed on the base instead of molded into the plastic, because it was named differently depending on the market it was released in, f.e. Isuzu Rodeo in the US. Being born in 2005, I had a lot of those cars in the first half of this video. Well I should not say had, I still have them. About 85% of those I had as a kid. I have the silver Honda Ridgeline, and funny story, my dad used to have a Civic and when he brought it to the Honda dealer to get fixed, I made sure to bring my little Honda Ridgeline. I was let down because the employees did not notice 😂

@@buildingtheultimatematchbo257 I have been collecting since I was a kid in the sixties. These days I collect many different brands and scales. If you want to get a comprehensive compendium of pre-Mattel Matchbox I would suggest any of the books by Charlie Mack. It list all the variations of each model and series. I am sure there are post Mattel books available as well. I appreciate that you are trying to collect all the variations, it’s quite a challenge. Good luck with your venture I look forward to watching it develop.

I was lucky with this haul because there were so many cars I’d not seen before let alone own. I wouldn’t reject the idea of a prototype or three. You may have to kidnap a head honcho at Mattel...don’t mention my name 😂😂

I try to watch your videos, but don't always make it thru because of the video. Perhaps if you only look at the cars and packaging thru the viewfinder, it would make it so you see exactly what we will see. There is a lot of time where we only see half the car as its off the screen as you are looking at it. I know....easier said than done.
