That's the way to do it. Take a rather plain-jane casting and turn up the wow factor, with a great paint job and detail. The wheel swap knocks it out of the park.

That Matchbox Transit could be made into a Tourneo as it has the hatch at the back instead of the double doors. I guess cutting out the side windows would take a while, but as the glass section is a lump of plastic, that could also be the windows for the sides. I remember this generation of Transit realy well! There used to be loads of these on British roads!

I prefer the tow truck because of nthe colour mix however the nuln oil really bought out the details on the Transit.

Nice one Jason on both castings. Very difficult to pick one as a fav. as both are top notch etc. Probably the tranny van, but only just. Keep er lit ya boy ye.
