Dude, Rob Thomas is literally one of the most talented musicians, ever. No doubt about it. His live performances sound just like a recorded studio performance or better. Filled with passion and energy. And what I'm saying doesn't really give it justice. All the folks playing too, not just Rob. One of the most underrated bands I know of.

I don't know how to put it into words but it gives me goosebumps and yes just like in the studio and that background the dudes playing in the band and the way they perform and sing live the whole group everybody him everyone amazing!

I love how much the audience gets involved but doesn’t take over. You never lose the fact that he’s doing the singing. I’ve seen so many to where when the audience joins in they just stick the mike in the air towards them and let them take over for awhile. I hate that because you came to see them, not the audience.

I totally agree with this. I love that feeling of the crowd all enjoying the music at the same time. When the artist lets the crowd single for a whole verse, or the best part of a song, it takes away from my people came. There are some songs though where doing that makes sense and makes the song better too!

I understand where your coming from but all an artist truly wants is to just sit back and listen to the people sing their songs back to them,I don’t think artist should let the crowd sing for to long but just enough to know “they’ve made it” + def shouldn’t do it with every song but they usually choose Their fav song I’ve found. Yeup, I agree. Never been a fan of audience participation. Which is why I hate those stupid screaming girls in the 50s Elvis videos. But seriously, the only part the audience would be able to sing is ‘let’s see how far we’ve come’. No ordinary human is going to be able to keep up with Rob on the verses. That’s one of the incredible things about Thomas as an artist… his breath control, amazing clear vocals while still adding in the extra bits like ‘oh yeah’.
