I met nick at partridge lakes when he came down on the tackling minds day, as I was a fan of his I popped down to partridge with it being 15 mins away from home and had to talk to him. Amazing man and great to talk to

Had the pleasure of getting pegged next to Nick on bennys last Sunday, absolute gent he was more then willing to share his knowledge of the venue and proceeded to win the match with 85lb. We shared a little chat after the match and had my photo with him.

Nick speed much respected by the majority of a anglers how ever there is a dark side to him when fishing a match if he caches skimmers or F ones instead of unhooking then gently placing from his lading net into his keepnet he just drops them in from a height do your self a favour show a bit of respect for the fish you are catching I no you put the big carp straight into your keepnet with the landing net do the same with the smaller fish you catch
