They almost all wanted Richard for their suggestions and their matches. It got so monotonous that later on the tried a wheel spinning. The idea was to give the other contestants a chance at the key moments. Amusingly, the first time they used the wheel... it stopped at Richard.

I would like to see more celebrities get chosen than Richard most of the time. But frankly, that's small potatoes and doesn't detract from the show. That said, the show could have found celebrities that guess much better, too. Often times, it seems like their answers are more for the joke, and not for the match.

Technically, it's called a fingertip bowl, as they're only large enough for a guest to insert their fingertips, and then dry them with a portion of their napkin, which is performed at the end of a meal which was very important for ladies back in the day, so as not to soil their gloves.
