I like Jack Cassidy a lot, but it was funny that he affected that British accent, while Richard Dawson (Colin Em) was British but had basically an American accent to better find work here. Cassidy's world started falling apart in '74 as he was hospitalized with bipolar disorder and he later died in a fire from his cigarette in '76. Brilliant actor.

I thought I figured out which 10 episodes were taped the same weekend except I don't know if these December go messed up some how because 106-110 Gene had a bad cough/sore throat but I see it has gone into a cold now 110-115. But I was thinking this 101-110 would have been taped together and 111-120 was taped two weeks later.. hmm sorry.

Gene sometimes mocks them when they use a fake soft voice...I love it how it slips it in without them noticing.

They've had a few female contestants that were borderline psychos. I wish I could remember the ladies name but she was on early in the shows run she was a ball of fire. She was on at least a week and she was anything but soft spoken. It would be a little overwhelming coming on set with lights, camera and celebrities. Making general statements like that aren't accurate.

Gene didn't drink he said he had a rotten liver. He was a health nut to compensate. Richard didn't drink either. Brett made up for both.
