There are a lot of these doing something nice for homeless people videos out there. I've done a few myself. Most of them involve directly doing something for the individual. I think they're great, but I wanted to do something that would get others involved, so I came up with this. Not only am I giving, but this encourages others to give, and when they do give, they give more! Special thanks to Ben and Ray for the help!

why don't people give to the homeless without the gimmicks? most people addressed the young guy in the suit, said well done to him, but didn't have time to speak to the homeless person :( (ok, 1 or 2 did) sad that there has to be "an event" in order for people to get involved....if it was me, at first glance I'd be suspicious of the guy in the suit, looked sus to me, but the homeless person looked in real need.....it's a sad world :(

It'd be stupid and disrespectful to yourself, those who donated money, and to the two men who began matching the donations, if they spent this money on stuff that would only further their suffering. 400+ dollars is enough to change your life around if you're homeless, living on the streets, and relying on others to feed you.
