One thing that confuses me is I don't understand why you have to treat these women in a traditional way during dates like bringing flowers but then she doesn't act like a traditional woman. It's kind of wierd. I can understand bringing a woman flowers and paying for dates/presents if she has some minimum wage type job and is living with her parents but a woman who has a decent paying office job? Im not buying it. Ukraine 10 -15 years ago used to be the go to place for the home grown traditional slavic beauties but the world gave them a title " Most beautiful women in the world ". Problem is they all believe this. They have been westernised and like most women can be difficult , stubborn and expect far more than they offer when they dont get what they want. July 2023, so anyone who wants to come to Canada now must apply through regular channels for refugees and displaced persons, which can be a bit of a bureaucratic nightmare , quite honestly. Since the war, Canada has received over a million applications and approved some 800k of them, yet only a mere 160k refugees have actually landed on Canadian soil. A little surprising. 3. Ukrainian women will be extremely welcome in Canada, she will assimilate quickly and will have access to many programs including language, education and the usuals of housing, heath care and support. The educated Ukrainian will find meaningful employment and if she has children, they will have good schools. The Ukrainian population in Canada is everywhere, big cities, smaller cities, towns and yes, farming villages. There are Ukrainian Orthodox Churches, community centres, and markets. 4. And importantly for those seeking marriage, she will have huge opportunities to meet men including Western and Ukrainian-Canadians. Perhaps she is not aware they are over 9m single men in Canada. The Ukrainian woman landing in Canada, with traditional values of the family etc., will attract easy attention. All she needs to do is go the local Orthodox church once, she will be popular. Her business should focus on Canada. Seems she is just trying to make quick €'s in Europe, forgetting the low hanging fruit of Canada. Or she doesn't, in fact, have many clients. Yeah, a lot of Ukrainians got the visa just to have the option of emigrating to Canada at some point in the next few years. It's far away from Ukraine and most want to stay close to home (hence why so many are in Poland). If the Ukrainian women are in big cities in Canada then I doubt they need a matchmaker much. They'll be popular enough with the Canadian guys already. 😉 I obviously agree with you that the Ukrainian marriage agency model is on life support. Those Ukrainian women who are currently in the small towns in Germany or in less socioeconomic developed EU countries like Bulgaria and are frustrated with their dating options will soon figure out a solution via a matchmaker or by some other way. And then what? I have been Retired 23 years and love Ukraine, the culture, the people and of course the lovely women. The Last 4 years I have taken 90-Day trips to all the main cities and many smaller as well. I find the women purely Fascinating and a joy to date. I think you'd agree that the proviso that it's mainly for guys looking for women from mid-30s up. Elena did match one of my consulting clients with his now wife (they moved to the US last year). You were looking for an attractive woman under 30 with no kids, right? Those women don't go to matchmakers realistically.
