MATCHMAKING IS COOKED | Seven Gameplay | Deadlock

Glad I’m not crazy about the matchmaking, I played 2-3 games in a row where I went nearly deathless and we won in sub-30 minutes, and then like 4 games in a row where I barely get any kills and we lose in less than 30 minutes. The worst part is that for all those games I could tell whether we’d win or lose within maybe 3 minutes and the rest was just waiting for that eventuality to occur. Not playing Deadlock until they address this.

I think matchmaking is bad bc Marvel Rivals just released it's eating into the Deadlock playerbase on top of everything probably

POE 2 and Rivals literally come out at the same week... also Helldivers 2 having a resurgence and Fortnite OG came out around the same time as well.. All while Deadlock is still in alpha... Yeah the hit to the numbers was huge lol

Matchmaking is so frustrating. This is my first MOBA and I was really starting to get the hang of things and enjoy it. But now, every match I'm either crushed by an organized team constantly rotating to perfection or my team dominates early and the other team quits.

Ive had a similar experience where the first game or two is me with a team full of toddlers who had an unfortunate accident occur with hammers and their heads. Then next few, just absolute slaughter matches. Perfect comms, rotations, etc. But ive faith they will iron it all out in time. Just hope its before another, potentially better built hero shooter moba comes out to snatch everyone away.

I've been playing a lot of seven and i think I'm finally waking up as to how to play this character. A week ago I felt he was underpowered, but now I've won 75% of my last 20 games with him and i think I finally got it, and I think he's good once more.

mm has definitely been bad. Sitting at Oracle 1 and I had a game earlier today and the Infernus was Asc 3, match average Phantom 2...

3 games in a row I was lane matched with a brand new players. These players consistently had some of the highest farm in the game whilst having the lowest damage & building damage. One of these players, a Bebop, had 0 building damage in a 35 minute game. I got matched against the same Vindicta + Lash duo two games in a row, and it literally didn't matter that I 2v1 solo killed the Vindicta, my teammate was in fucking Narnia. I had a Geist game where we won (I should say I won because it was a fucking 1v9). I was 15-4-25, 45k damage, 20k building damage. I literally had to spam ping the buildings so the Russians on my team would fucking hit them. I was hitting the patron when two of my team were in the jungle. I ended the game second lowest souls collected on my team, with by far highest kda, building damage and player damage. Suffice to say I went on a heavy losing streak, dropped from Oracle to Emissary, and the games are even fucking worse now. I get it's an alpha, but surely the matchmaker is aware that some players are quite literally creeps and should absolutely not be in lobbies where people have mastered a hero. Edit: what's weird is that before recently, I haven't had games which genuinely felt 'hopeless'. Even the worst soul differences were at the very least competetive. I didn't have players chain feeding in lane because it was usually some sort of trade. I never had players with less than 3k building damage in a game, but now it seems to be every game. I never had players 4 man jungling whilst our walkers are getting pushed.

Tbh been in plenty of matches that we were losing badly with zero coms or team work and then with coordination and a positive mindset we usually made a tough fight and even make massive comebacks.. we need to fix out mindset fr fr

In my opinion Seven is much better when you play around his 3rd ability. Once you get surge of power on that and have improved spirit and escalating he shreds

Matchmaking was awful today but they doing feel like you're getting absolutely outplayed. At least for me, it's usually winning lane but then either everyone else loses lane or i get 3 man rotated on (comms) and no one on my team comms it

Matchmaking probably feels really bad because of hero specific mm So a one-trick guy gets a nice win streak on a character and ends up in a highly ranked game not knowing what to do, would be my guess

So many games where I see people just go 0-12 at minute 14 or something, clearly new to the game and getting frustrated. The discrepancy is currently just too high. I am around emmissary, but my matches have a huge fluctuation to either archon or ritualist, if tracklock is anything to go by.

I'm Archon III. My Warden winrate is 65% so when I play him I get paired with Phantom players, its ridiculous. Other heroes I match with like Emissary V players. Total whiplash game to game. and most of the time getting steamrolled when I play my best characters. Except last Warden game I matched with Phantom and Oracle players I had top souls and 21 kills so maybe I am goated idfk.
