Ah yes. We care about "toxicity". Not about teammate being afk for first 4 minutes of the game or someone not communicating in English or even someone buying boots as a first item and marching into enemy tower. I would 100% prefer not having griefers in my team rather than not having someone yelling slurs entire match(especially when you have mute button so conviniently placed on UI.

Hmm that matchmaking update is interesting. I quit because there are literally 0 close games, just stomps vs stomps. I'm not willing to give gaben any money though, so I'll still leave it uninstalled until this propagates to all players. I don't want non toxic players, I just want players who have more than half a brain cell and can build something different than the guides. I don't care how toxic they are as long as they can itemise correctly.

personally, i hate the sandking change. I feel the Aghs is so broken that the laning phase HAS to be weak in order to balance out the hero. If he has a strong lane AND a stable way to get to aghs, the hero will be busted as hell soon

Hi Coach Zquixotic. I think you and many others have not thought through the "grove bow problem". It is ok for a neutral item to scale over time as long as it just on par with the next tier by the time you get there. It would be ok for a t1 item to have +15% attack damage because it would not be stronger than other t1 items and yet it would keep scaling nicly into the lategame where it could give a tiny the same damge as an inactive ancient guardian. The idea that it is a problem if a neutral item can compete with the next tier of itmes is wrong. In my opinion it would even be preferable if there were more items like that because it would reduce neutral item luck.

When Swashbuckle goes through an enemy, it does extra proc on them, in those scenarios you get 480 damage, which is massive in the early game

Here's a build for you. Off lane Faceless Void, go laning item > boots > vanguard or similar tanking item > aghanim's scepter > aghs shard. Build after that is up to you, but the point is to have a low cooldown, BKB piercing stun on time walk and maximize the disruption you can do while being extremely tanky, mobile, in addition to the utility of your ult. Works best on a team with lots of range (sniper drow or Lina have worked well as partners) since you're not building in order to be able to do the assassinating yourself. You become a very good frontliner with the build and its a fun way to lean into making one of the worst Aghs effects in the game work for you.

I hope you will find another, better way to spend your time. I like this game, but I did a break for a week, and yesterday i decided to play a couple of games and i really felt like I am just a worker for Gaben without pay. No fun no more, just time killer. And today is another patch as a sign of stagnation of the game. Patch makers spend last years in the state of (we broke the mechanic/item/hero-we cant undo change, because it will prove we broke the game previously-we will broke the broken thing). Sorry for a long comment, i think i just need to talk to someone about the game and my frustration of it. Good luck for you and don't be ashamed if you return, just don't press "play" button to win, or comeback, or tilt. Press it to have fun.

We have to click through after game questionnaires with "important" answers such as "I played well" since 5 years and there wasn't a single use of that data. If you have ´dotrta plus you some times have to click through 7 screens before you come to the after game stats.

when you talked about batrider you said the damage was the same at level one but the slow was shorter. this is hugely off.. didnt address how napalm increases the damage of every damage instance and how big of a damage nerf fewer instances of flamebreak is.

It used to just so divine rapier is bugged. I actually got one last night and it's at 100 damage on it and I was playing Zeus so I was like okay cool I'll switch it to spell damage so I switch it over and it says 100 damage. So you don't know what it's on It's got to be bugged. It's either stuck on one or it's not telling you which one is on

as an overperforming player, im usually lumped with underperformers of same rank. im no god so 1v5 is impossible for me unless if ur using superscaling hero (snowball) like meepo or sf which unfortunately not in my hero pool

Yea i picked Arc, Weaver, Tinker and Timber, 4 very annoying heroes to deal with. And yea i would also pick behaviour score, it's easy to ask go get that item because the enemy got that hero and they will get that item. Also Silver Edge with Core, means it's on a 15sec cooldown with a 17sec duration, if you got the mana, you become Riki.

What do you mean by "there are other things that Break right now [besides Silver Edge]"? AFAIK the only source of Break as an item is SE (the other being some skills). I really wish there were other items that Break besides SE.

So only Silver Edge can break as a generic item, but many meta (or at least playable) heroes had breaks they could get. Viper ult, PA shard, Hoodwink ult (and Aghs), SD ult with Aghs, Primal Aghs. Or there were work arounds like heal regen reduction vs high regen passives. It's just enough alternatives to Silver Edge that you didn't really need it

That is soooo tricky. As a support player you need good skilled Carry - on the other hand - I really like to play with nice people that do not trigger me... but I guess, overall I'd rather play with nice people and lose than have toxic players and MAYBE win.

This manta nerf will fuck up some farm patterns because the creepwaves are not gonna be at the same spot every time you use it, since now the cooldown doesn't match the waves spawn time. You could cut waves by spamming manta off cooldown and sending the illusions to the front of the enemy base every half minute, for example. They would always meet the creeps at the same spot. Besides, those 4 seconds will be felt if you need dispel desperately in teamfights and you have it on cooldown for some reason. I think it's a significant nerf.

Valve is missing a critical point of data for every player, which makes this Labs feature sub-optimal. The lack player's motivation. Does the player want to win, or they want to have a relaxing game, or they want to practice a hero (so they want to win, but with a limiting factor), or they want to complete a guild contract (so they want to win, but again with a limiting factor)? The same player can have different motivations for different matches. Once Valve adds this to their algorithm the toxicity will drop.

Assumption that people play ranked only for win is faulty. It SHOULD be played like that, but in practice it is not. Actually, some people sometimes play to lose, to reduce their MMR on purpose. Another motivation to take into account.
