It's been trialed and while I get the concept it didn't really work most of the time. I wasn't a fan, I think the judges should have to explain their cards afterwards instead of slinking out, I mean we get interviews with a fighter's trainer's second cousin's girlfriends uncle but can't get a word out of the judges
@felicitybolt76074 күн бұрын
@@johnrobertson8072there should be more accountability within the proffesional judging system and it likely needs to be overhauled from within. But interviewing judges is ridiculous, doesn’t happen in any other sport and nor should it

why does no-one consider that the standing count in the fury v usyk fight could have actually won usyk the fight....if fury didn't go down it would have only been a 10-9 rd. There was only about 10secs left.
@johnrobertson80725 күн бұрын
That would have been 10-8 anyway even without the knockdown
@stuartmitchell71505 күн бұрын
We came down from Glasgow for the fight. Massive Joshua fan. One thing I noticed and was surprised by was literally everywhere close to the stadium, Wembley Way every entrance and exit to/from the stadium was just all Joshua’s face….Joshua promo you wouldn’t think he had an opponent. That’s the only AJ fight I’ve been to and maybe it’s always like that who knows. But literally didn’t see one thing about Dubois until the ring walk

in terms of stake and level of competition, but in terms of the knockout itself it's 100% Ngannou

It was a really good shot he landed but, the Ngannou KO was far more devastating

As good as Turki and the Saudi money has been to get the big fights (and yes, I understand the sport washing issue), the Saudi investment risks of lack of developing UK talent. With the Olympics banning boxing and UK promoters chasing the Saudi money, I think we are looking a massive lull in UK-based talent over the next few years. In my opinion, Jack Catterall is one of the (if not the) best UK fighters right now but because Turki isn't really interested, he has gone 4 (soon to be 5) fights with no world title... madness. Take out the heavyweights that Turki loves and Eubank-Benn freak show, what UK talent can you name that sells out arenas without Saudi money?? The Saudis will be stopping fights outside of "the Kingdom" soon, so Hearn, Warren and co., need to step up.
