I used to live on an island in Brazil with two friends. We worked at a hotel and had a pretty simple life. We only had a tv and a Wii with this game and a Zelda. We played nunchuk mode cause a fightstick or pro controller was impossible to find. This game reminds me of the happiest time in my life.

Yeah, but Capcom would have to divert money from SFV, and that ain't happening.
@josephandreuccetti80435 жыл бұрын
It was suppose to be remade but the lack of sale on WII might have played a role I really still don’t understand why it would have ever been released on a limited market like the WII That was a bad move and from what I’ve gathered capcom said they did want to make a 2 and Tatsunoko was game for 2 They were going to include speed racer and samurai pizza cats etc Actually speed racer was suppose to be in this but some other well known tatsunokocharacters were gonna come in 2 That’s not internet lore either that really almost happened and I really wished capcom made more games like this and umvc
@SuperPlusher945 жыл бұрын
Joseph Andreuccetti The reason why the game was a Wii exclusive was because the original Arcade version was built off of the same hardware as the Wii, and was optimized specifically for the system, so they couldn’t have just put the game on the PS3/360 at the time. As for the Speed Racer and Samurai Pizza Cats, it’s less so they were planned to be in the game, and moreso that they wanted them in it, but Tatsunoko refused to let Capcom use them. Not really sure why, though. The former might be because Tatsunoko didn’t have international rights to Speed Racer until like 2014, but I can’t figure out the case for the former. And yeah, another Versus would be swell right now. Infinite was a major bust, so it’d be nice to get something more on par with this game or UMvC3 soon.

I really like the idea of using dolphin, you can even use Switch Arcade sticks and (as far as I know) Dolphin doesn't suffer the terrible input lag problems like MAME persist to have. As for the Wii, the only real option for an stick is to padhack a generic controller and obviously use a compatible system.
@vlagtr3 жыл бұрын
