I'm a career chef in Nashville, and have to say one day you'll probably lop a finger off cutting like that. Blade should never come near fingers, knuckle should be extent.

As a career social media cook, totally agree haha. I couldn’t get a good hold on the peaches doing that. I’m working on my technique to get better at that for sure. Good lookin out 🤝
