It is great to see more combo lights coming out. Getting a spot and flood is so useful. I don't get the blue and red flashing on so many lights these days without giving just blue or red or just flash one or the other.

I decided not to buy the FW3 because of the interface, you need to cycle through all the flood modes to get to the LEP. This X1pro seems to have solved the problem

I didn't like the UI on this at first but by the end of the review I was having fun. The flood is definitely not the nicest tint though, but the LEP isn't multicoloured like older LEP models which is nice.

@simonedellachiesa9804 Didn't you know that FW3 has a shortcut? Double tap to enter turbo Lep and then tap again to acces the turbo lep+led. Triple click strobe

@simonedallachiesa9804 That's not indicated in the manual. So the reviewers don't know. I have 3 fw3, and that's the user interface.

I would guess that with familiarity with the light and pre planning you should be able to produce some good SFX with this

arent astrolux wp5 & this X1pro the same thing?...glad they solved the switching problem...and maybe will get use to the Ui.

@LevelCyclery I believe they are the same. I have the WP5 in for review, but it's at the bottom of a big pile. I'll put them head to head to see if there's any subtle differences.

With a light like this, I'd be afraid that I'd accidently flash someone in the eyes, potentially damaging them. I'm not one who cares for LEP lasers. But they do look impressive.

An interesting flashlight I just got a Convoy Z1 with a SFT-25R LED. The beam is almost as tight and my lumintop Thor 3 LEP, but the Z1 you can zoom out to a flood. I dont normally go for zoom flashlights, but for around £30 you can't go wrong. Unsure if you've covered a Z1 in your reviews.
