He was so funny and charming and adorable. I only discovered him recently, while watching comedians during the covid lockdown. The very first joke I watched him do was "I like rice. Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something," and I was cracking up immediately and totally hooked after that. No one else comes close and not many can pull off his style. He was the total package.

Oh hush. You don’t know what would have been funnier! It isn’t just that his jokes are hilarious, it’s his way of delivering them. I’m ashamed to say I didn’t get turned on to him until after he had passed but he was definitely in a league of his own. The playing his musical c too loud and the neighbor banging about the noise and Mitch just messes with the guy’s head with “go around, there is no door knob there, go around” was just so funny. Then the “I’d hate to be killed by a bow and arrow, nobody would ever find the killer, everyone would just go that way” is priceless. Then if you need to sleep, count sheep don’t count endangered species, you will run out! I only wish I’d known about him when he was here with us. Just imagine how far he would have succeeded. His jokes still remain and that is rare for a comedian. God bless him. He was in a higher class all his own!

"Some people think I'm high on stage; I would never get high before a show, because, when I'm high, I don't wanna stand in front of a bunch of people I don't know. That does not sound comfortable. Like, when you're high, and a joke doesn't work, it's extra scary. It's like,"Whoa, what the hell happened there? I am retreating within myself. Why have all these people gathered? And why am I elevated? Why am I not facing the same way as everyone else? And what is this electric stick in my hand?" I like the way this is situated here. i'm so mad at mitch! he was so funny, handsome, unique. i discovered him 15 years after his death and want him back. dammit. damn drugs. they kill all the good people. every time. it just sucks. he was a little baked her but nothing major. he looked super healthy. and just 6 years later he looked like death on stage. his stand up in 2004 he is pale, emaciated, totally incoherent, stumbling, still funny!, and miserable. what happened? women woes? depression and anxiety became too much? lust for fame? the drug addiction just got out of hand? someone should have done an intervention who was close to him and i'm so mad they didn't. it pisses me off. i want him here even though i would never meet him. he was a sweet prince who left earth too soon. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I just don't get how his wife Lynn didn't intervene when in 2003 he got stopped at the airport for heroin possession and when they were booking him, they had to rush him to the hospital cause his leg's gangrene infection was so severe the jail couldn't handle it and his leg was almost amputated cause of heroin addiction. why didn't lynn do something about a leg that was black and purple from gangrene? how did this go unnoticed? and then 2 years later when she's with him he OD's. why didn't his own wife help him? i sort of blame lynn shawcroft. he was the picture of health in the 90's and wasn't overly shy and didn't look like a corpse on stage. by 2003 he looks like the walking dead. i just don't get it. he should have lived a long life. and his widow, lynn, has published all his notebooks..etc..that he may have never intended to be published. i just don't like her. she didn't protect him and has been profiting off him ever since. its not right. he deserved better.
