I had to kill men, women and children because I was ordered to do that!!!!!! There was no "hero's welcome back" infact, people hated me, kicked, beat, called me a murderer. Sorry a a, you have no sense of humor or aren't sharp enough to get their humor. Couldn't be too bright as you can't spell either the lady you are replying to or other words in your stupid reply. Robin Williams is never ancient humor because he always reacts to the conversation at hand. Perhaps you are not getting any of it or definitely the first part. Jonathan Winters has written hysterical books and stories and Robin was a genius too smart for the people he had to deal with who were as dumb as a rock. I'd like to know who you think is funny? No doubt a simpleton. And Jonny Carson was the absolute best for finding talent, interviewing superbly and even laughing at himself; a modest, humble genius the likes of which you'd be lucky to witness in your lifetime! Wasn't it mostly Substance abuse? If so,shouldn't we all.... Robin was Wired on another level.
@gloriab3573 жыл бұрын
@@bigjohn3928 I just retired after a career as a therapist -- clinical social worker in private practice. Robin Williams, as we see him in the video here, is what Bipolar I Disorder looks like with no medication. The person is manic and speaks rapidly. Thoughts race and Robin Williams had the talent of seeing humor all over so the world had the benefit of those rapid thoughts aimed toward humor. They tend to speed in their cars, start many projects and then turn their attention to another project before getting very far with the previous one, they may sleep only 3 or 4 hours per night when in a manic phase. If they have a "contrary" personality, they tend to get into frequent arguments. They may gamble or otherwise use money foolishly. It's really difficult for someone to live with this disorder unless they are medicated and see a therapist regularly. The meds aren't so pleasant for them to take. Many patients have told me that they'd rather deal with the consequences of their poor choices when in a manic phase than feel sluggish and droopy on the meds. There also exists a disorder called Bipolar II Disorder, which is a milder form but still quite troublesome. Don't confuse Bipolar Disorder with someone who switches moods frequently. That's a common misconception because when people hear "manic-depression" or "mood swings" they easily think of someone who has problems with widely varying moods within one day. This isn't how it works with Bipolar Disorder, either I or II. The switch from a manic phase to a depressive phase doesn't happen quickly or frequently, certainly rarely within one day. Those folks generally have a personality disorder of one type or another, often Borderline Personality Disorder. As for Robin Williams, he may very well have abused street drugs. I just don't know much about him. But that isn't what we saw of him when he was performing. Someone using cocaine, for example, wouldn't usually be able to think as clearly as Williams was able to do, especially as a young man. People with Bipolar I Disorder don't like the prescription drugs used to stabilize their moods so they often self-medicate with alcohol, marijuana, or something else. It's pretty hard to hold down a normal job with that kind of mental health problem. Think of someone who is intoxicated with alcohol. They might be a little funny but I can't imagine them being able to carry on like Robin Williams could. If he abused substances I imagine that must have been when he was not on public display because that wouldn't have been too successful. I hope this provides you some insight. Gosh, I really miss Robin Williams. What a rare talent.

It is tragic that RW committed suicide and you should simply pray for his soul as a good Christian instead of judging people. After all, that's what our bible says. P.S.
