Hello you can use glue instead of screws looks better for FPR. also on the ceiling you can use plywwod about 3" rips every 12" so the fpr doesn't look wavy. Also don't use 3 1/2 insulation on 1 1/2 wall/ceiling. There is 1" insulation that you can use, works better for food truck. Exelent job.

You can use an “FRP adhesive” made by Titebond, and I believe it’s available at most hardware stores. Here’s a link: www.homedepot.com/p/Titebond-3-5-Gal-Greenchoice-Fast-Grab-FRP-Adhesive-Pail-4059/202960639?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&mtc=Shopping-BF-F_Brand-G-Multi-NA-Multi-NA-Feed-PLA_LIA-NA-NA-Catchall_PLA&cm_mmc=Shopping-BF-F_Brand-G-Multi-NA-Multi-NA-Feed-PLA_LIA-NA-NA-Catchall_PLA-71700000014585962-58700001236285396-92700067144412170&gbraid=0AAAAADq61UfcKIXvV423o9K1zyhPh5maP&gbraid=0AAAAADq61UfcKIXvV423o9K1zyhPh5maP&gclid=CjwKCAjwopWSBhB6EiwAjxmqDcTvPY9u56UBKr8ds3N5TxOjUQcopxe58h1Z-_tzgFJoTN8dDdQtChoCk4AQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

@@poormansfoodtruck frp adhesive is expensive.We used two 3.5 gallons on the trailer so far and we need another. Screws are cheaper. I need to know how to hold the polywall panel up with the insulation panel board.

Hi there. Thanks for your great video. I live in Tampa FL. What's the rubber piece that you are using to seal the gap between sheets?
@2hotjalapeno5 ай бұрын
They are just pvc trim. At lowes they sell them for a 1.00 each. They are usually located in a box near the floor/bathroom section.

I think I would've taken the wooden walls off and glued them to the walls (then put the walls back up) + glueing is Cleaner and time saving.(No Screwing)
@poormansfoodtruck2 жыл бұрын
Definitely not a bad idea for the next build, I agree think it would’ve made it a cleaner look! Thank you for the feedback!

are you cooking in there? It won't work as a backing around heat sources and cooking appliances. good choice for everywhere else.

Great question! I am planning to use either white aluminum or stainless behind the cooking equipment for safety and for cleanliness 👍🏻 great call out though!

69$ today in Oklahoma. I'm bout read to cover the particle board in sheet rock mud and paint it with a good paint. Would that pass?
@poormansfoodtruck Жыл бұрын
I’m not too sure about Oklahoma, in FL the requirements are than it has to be a non-porous, wipeable surface that is mould resistant. I would check with your local authorities first!

Is poly wall and frp the same thing. Here in Canada it’s two different materials.
@poormansfoodtruck Жыл бұрын
At least here in FL, they are two separate materials (both ok to use in my local area)

@@poormansfoodtruck ok. Unfortunately most jurisdictions up here won’t permit poly wall. I just bought some FRP sheets and I paid 75 dollars a piece for them. Prices in Canada are ridiculous.

That’s awesome! I found mine on Facebook marketplace (took a looooong time to find!). But you can get them used between $3500-$5000, at least in FL

I am in Florida (miami) thank you I will check marketplace also but everywhere I look was more of the 7k-8k for 8.5×16
@poormansfoodtruck2 жыл бұрын
Yikes! That is steep! I would look at changing the location on marketplace further north? I picked mine up in Palatka and I found much cheaper in the rural/country areas? Sure you’d have to drive a few hours to pick it up but you’d save some money for sure.
