This little girl is a hoot!😂 “That one’s not pink either!” Mumbling “Looks like a couch to me” “Nooo don’t mix it uup!” 😂😂😂 I want to say thank you for showing these lessons in a “real life” way, where the student is not responding automatically in a textbook way. Because we know that “perfect” response doesn’t always happen. I am really enjoying learning about the Montessori method. I wish I could rewind my career and start off with Montessori from the very beginning. 😞

Thanks for watching :) It is never too late Elizabeth… trust me - I have worked with students of ALL ages from 16 - 65 and everyone has loved it and benefitted. Let me know if you would like to chat some more and we can get on a call. And yes…. she is a hoot ;) I cannot plan out any of my videos with her because she takes it in her own direction all the time :) and I love it.

I learnt so much from your presentation and explanation of how the knobless cylinders can be extended.I love the way you interact with the child and keep bringing her back to what you are showing her.

I love your presentations! Got some answers from concerns I had when I give children opportunities to explore materials even before I have suggested my presentation first. Thanks so much for extension ideas!

Thank you for sharing your feedback! I'm delighted to hear that you've learned a lot from the presentation on knobless cylinders. These tools are fundamental in Montessori education for developing a child's fine motor skills and understanding of dimensions. If there are more aspects of Montessori materials or methods you're interested in exploring, please feel free to let me know. Your learning journey is important to us, and we aim to provide content that is both informative and practical. Stay tuned for more educational videos, and thank you once again for your engagement! 😊

Thank you so much for your wonderful videos and insight. I have a question with the knobless cylinders. What other materials does the child have to do before they can use the knobless cylinders?
@SunshineTeachersTraining2 жыл бұрын
They can do the Knobbed Cylinders, Pink Tower, Broad Stair, Long Rods or EPL activities

Really good mam. Thank you! Ma'am when we make these knobbles cylinders ,do we need to match correct diameter of red with yellow or diameters can be different for both the cylinders?

Yes you do - they need to correspond

Hello, I used to be a Montessori student myself when I was 6-12 years old. I am 18 years old now and have been called into my old classroom to teach the students Montessori because the original teachers had to leave. I am currently the only person who will be teaching the kids that knows about the Montessori Method of learning. I was wondering if you might have any suggestions for me going into this. I was also wondering if you could demonstrate any materials that would be suitable for slightly older student? Thank you so much :))
@bouuudicca3 жыл бұрын
Do you perhaps have any materials that would be good for 6 year olds in Montessori who went through Montessori 3-6??
@SunshineTeachersTraining3 жыл бұрын
My suggestion would be to make a plan for what you want to present. Start simple and small... do not put out too many materials to start with. Watch this video for ideas on this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpyaf2aVibB1nNU Let the older children start to follow the rules - this is most important. Only then can you get into presenting materials. This series of videos have a lot of helpful tips: kzbin.info/aero/PL3W5YxW5HCuM3wY5h5WV3CLpP4_Faz1m1

We have two cousins at home, one is introvert and the other is outgoing. If we keep them together, they will damage the entire materials together. Introvert guides the outgoing one n the outgoing one sincerely follows his friends instructions. If they're given knob less cylinder, they will roll those on floor singing the wheels of the bus go round and round

Try and establish some simple rules of how to handle the materials before keeping too many things on the shelves.
