You should have considered the styling aspect for both as well. Styling imo on chakra is much more convenient than constantly creating creating a separate variable with styles that are not typescript reference usable when dealing with the HTML / Component work. You always have to hover back over to the variable in order to know / reference the styles and adjust the edits.

Thanks! I’ve installed both on separate branches to test. I think chakraui will be my choice because I’m just looking for a simple admin design. Thanks for this review!

I use material UI at work and have started a course that uses Chakra for styling. This helped clear up the differences between them; thanks!

Which course is it? Is it good :D ?

Tbh, I switched to Chakra UI from Material UI after getting alot of errors when building the UI. Only issue I've had really with Chakra UI is their theme customization which I can't get to work.

I prefer chakra lately. Both are helpful.

I've seen Tailwind being used a lot on this chanel, but it haven't made it to this video for comparing. Why is that ? Is because this video is older ?

@@Sifsif__ma think you idiot you would be importing two component libraries and your poor users if you have any would have to wait more than they would be willing to browse your website in the first place.

Neither. Material You still doesn't allow me to choose anything that matters. The button to shut down my phone that has always been red is suddenly grey while the restart and emergency buttons are still green and orange. It's a mess. Every bloody corner is rounded with no choice to turn it off or choose how rounded they are. All system icons are flattened into oblivion. No more 3D looking icons or the choice to turn them on without a whole lot of manual work looking up icons and replacing them one by one. It's a mess. Chakra UI isn't installed on my system so it doesn't help with anything either.

Someone didn’t read a single page of the MUI documentation rofl. The only mess here is your incompetence and your inability to read.
@ts89602 жыл бұрын
u can definitely change border roundness in MUI, and its super easy
@StijnHommes2 жыл бұрын
@@Omar_Al_Seddik I suspect you're assuming I'm a developer instead of a regular user. If this is possible, it should be in my phone settings or something I can easily find on Google. I don't have the time to screen a technical document that tells me how someone else should have developed the apps and phone I'm using. Some people have even flat out told me it's impossible.
@StijnHommes2 жыл бұрын
@@ts8960 So where on my phone can I find the setting to do so? When I try to Google this, I come up empty and I don't have any intention of becoming a developer just to get my phone to work as it should.
