Surveillance video caught the moment the earthquake hit the Ma Cherie maternity centre in Taipei. Taiwan is still assessing the aftermath of the quake - given a magnitude of 7.2 by the national earthquake monitoring agency, 7.4 by the US and 7.7 by Japan - which struck near Hualien.

Yes, that particular one was just getting off work when the quake hit. So, she rushed back to help her colleagues. That's why she wasn't wearing a mask.

Well trained and brave to remain focused on the job to overcome fear of own's life. I recall my experience in Taiwan when an earthquake of this size hit my instinct was to run outside and surely I did act on my instinct. The flight response is so real and strong it's hard to override.
