About Gale counterspell, it succeeds automatically if its the same level of the targeted spell. If the target spell is superior level, you make a test. Gale used counterspell as 3rd level and Dimension Door is 4th. So, it worked once but failed the second time. if you upcasted as a 4th level, it would have succeeded automatically.

I just wanna say I absolutely love how Halsin was written, with regards to his polyamory. He's completely respectful of those who choose monogamy, he's not interested in a relationship with you if it upsets Shadowheart, and the reasons why he's polyamorous just feels so in-line with his character. I also love that he even had specific dialogue about Shadowheart when you pursued the topic further.

Assassins can do BIG NUMBERS™ What Dolor did is paralyse you and then sneak attack which is then an automatic critical hit (double the damage dices) and his equipment makes his crits even better.

57:00 You don't need movement to Misty Step, you just need movement to get within Line of Sight (which Misty Step requires). Pretty much every ability in the game will try and autocalculate movement if you try and target outside your Line of Sight.

There's a note in Figaro's mailbox possibly explaining that. Figaro apparently has a side business creating new identities for people, there's a note from someone looking to have a complete makeover to make them unrecognizable due to being hunted by assassins. The Bhaalists have probably either lost the writer of the note or others in the past due to Figaro's efforts and decided to get rid of him.

Elemental Myrmadons are relatively new additions to D&D from 4th edition. They are/were the foot soldiers of the Primordials, godlike Elementals who warred with the gods in the Dawn War from mythological times and were (for the most part) overthrown. Basically the Primordials are the Titans of Greek Mythology. With their masters...indisposed, the Myrmadons roam the elemental planes as mercenaries/henchmen of greater elemental creatures like genies.

When you give Sanctuary to another, the affected entity loses it if they attack, not if Shadowheart attacks. That said, its a great example of being useful -- Shadowheart could've had Sanctuary on, healing others of paralyze in the first battle. When your whole party is paralyzed

21:00 - Yeah, "sneak attacks" can be MONSTROUS. I haven't played D&D myself in many years (and I never played much of it), but I do listen to a few D&D campaign-podcasts, and all the players generally start cackling whilst the rogue-player lists off all the dice they're about to roll for damage.

Red only mean that the stuff belongs to someone or a group, so it can be red but if it's not related to them or to the current power /group in place, they don't care. Like in act one, the red objects in the goblin camp doesn't mean much to the druid or tiefling probably. But I agree it's hard to know who react to what and it's sometime a bit clunky. People can also see through windows, so it's why sometime you can find strange they saw you, hiding is the safe bet. xD

I can confirm discounts can stack, but the game refused to give me money for purchasing stuff when I got the discount up to 110%. (I even had to still pay...there might be some minimum price at play)

You apply poisons like the paralysis one to weapons, not throw. Its "poison" not "potion". You just haven't been doing it the entire campaign, lol.
