Nothing like a good gold top with P90s. They always sound awesome and feel great to play. Great wood is always used. Same for my 61 RI. SG. The wood is too notch and I was always a Strat player and sold my old Les Paul thinking Strats were it for me. But lately I’ve really been liking Gibsons more in the middle position with the tone knobs turned half way down for that Clapton tone. But, most of all, Gibsons aka Humbuckers or P90s can really scream with a lot of gain.

I love the distortion side. I love overdrive and transparent drives but distortion is a lot more fun to play and tap and just make the guitar scream. I’d love to use the octave side of the FUZZ with the distortion side of the Asabi. You really nailed the Marshall tone. My favorite amp I ever owned and regret selling as a dumb 21 year old was a JCM 800 with the 1960A cab. Even the cleans were amazing but you could feel that thing in your chest when you cranked it up. A lot of bass.

Oh man a Soldano, a Gold Top with P-90’s and Mateus actually playing the Asabi! So awesome. Huge Jackson pedal fan. I have the Fuzz with a couple different inputs and it’s amazing with the octave up option. I also have the Bloom and it’s one of the best compressors around, right up there with my Cali 76 and Jam DynassoR but with so many more options and it’s built like a tank. Amazing sustain and the same goes for the Fuzz. This pedal I’ve been meaning to buy for a long time and this video just reminded me to buy one. Love anything that produces a hot rodded Marshall style pedal. I love how much distortion it can produce when you wanna go into EVH mode. Love the Mid hump too. Mids make the guitar sound to me that’s why I’ve always had a TS-808, HW now on my board. I own lots of TS pedals and have stacked them with the Fuzz and Bloom and it sounds amazing.

The problem with these demos: players like Mateus make anything sound great. He would sound the same with a DS1…
@JacksonAudio3 жыл бұрын
That's because Mateus is a phenomenal musician. If he wanted to play a DS1 he would. He just happens to like the product that we built together.
@jordandangelo1803 жыл бұрын
@@JacksonAudio He would sound great with a DS-1 but the tone would be no where near as good as the Asabi. Jackson pedals in person are amazing trust me. The Bloom and the Fuzz are ridiculously good pedals, both built like tanks especially the Bloom. This pedal blows away a DS-1 though I get your point. I’ve played a ton of Boss pedals and I love the Vibrato pedal and the OD-1 and the new Waza Heavy Metal but Jackson pedals are in a different league imho. Try the Bloom on any amp set clean, edge of break up or stacked with a drive and you’ll be blown away by the sustain and tone. Everything just pops, especially when finger picking or playing slide. Also, most Fuzz pedals do not offer and Octave up option. You either have an octave fuzz or a regular fuzz but Brad was smart enough to add the octave up option, something I always wanted in a Tone Bender or Fuzz Face and with the insertable chips that you can pop in the back, you can get a Bender sound or a Fuzz Face tone and add that octave up and it’s just killer, super easy to get the tones you want and so much fun to play. I’ve spent hours with the Fuzz and it’s top notch and I own vintage Benders and Fuzz Faces and a Foxx Tone Machine and it’s equal and on the same level.

Brother, i think music is art, and art is a way to express something. You should keep playing if you want to express yourself through music and let your heart speak through your guitar. Doesn't matter if it sounds, good, matter if you feel good playing. "Being good" is not a good reason for anything, trust me, there will always be someone better than you and me at everything, but your life, your thoughts, your art is exclusively yours, therefore, unique. Cheers.
@wolfbrother24743 жыл бұрын
@@gabrielchaves7768 yeah that makes a lot of sense, thank you. There is always a tendency to be self analytical when it comes to playing, especially these days where you can watch so many great players instantly. I think Jeff Buckley once said "music is endless" and its true. One thing I've always thought about guitar playing is anyone can learn something from anyone else,regardless of their skill or experience. If you are strumming your first chord, you've so much to learn from others and vice versa, if you are a virtuoso, you can still learn something from that person playing their first chords which I find encouraging. I think things like KZbin can be helpful with playing but also they can hold people back as (myself certainly) you end up trying to be as good as someone else or play the same way which to an extent removes alot of your own creativity and approach. I will never stop playing, even it it means I stick within blues pentatonics forever. Thanks for your kind words
@gabrielchaves77683 жыл бұрын
@@wolfbrother2474 It is a generational issue, i think. So much pressure to be productive, to be the best nowadays. I think life doesn't work like that - even God rested on the saturday haha. Musicians like Victor Wooten, that are so good but treat and teach music in such a simple way, i think are great resources to learn from. Mad respect, bro. Glad my opinion can be of any good to you. @@JacksonAudio fair enough, but the fact that the emphasis was put more on the technical aspect of the pedal instead of the actual sound design for the pedal doesn’t make it seem like it.
