The HWPO Training team SHOWED UP at the 2023 CrossFit Games with member workouts, community events, a booth on-site, an online merch drop and more. 14 HARD WORKERS took the floor during the week in Madison, and Katrín Davíðsdóttir made an incredible comeback this season under the guidance of coach Mat Fraser. Sammy Moniz held it down at home, missing her first Games in almost a decade, as baby Fraser will be making an appearance any day now.

The best part about being the temporary strategic advisor to the assistant coach is if the athlete crushes the workout, you can claim some credit, but also you are shielded from taking any blame. It's all upside baby haha!!

I’m convinced Katrin had it all along, she was just stuck in a program that she’s comfortable with, that didn’t catch up to the programming each year. Also, Katrin and Mat’s dynamic seems like a good formula to get her off that comfortable spot and push her hard. Brother and Sister relationship

Congrats to Matt, Kat and the whole HWPO team...I believe it is alot harder for someone whos been to the top twice than for someone whos on their way to the top. its not easy to motivate someone whos been there because their mind says theres nothing to prove they've been there and their body is telling them their tired of the years of training yet alone break the old habits and introduce new ones so props to all and to the videographer who was task to bring us in with this journey again not easy but u captured all our undivided attention for 47:09 minutes.
