Once again and not surprisingly, i have fallen in love with another one of Shannons amazing choreography! The dancers are just stunning and i feel they portray the characters really well. Even though you cant see their facial expressions, you can feel the emotions that they are trying to portray and as a dancer myself i know thats not an easy task. Everything down to the costume and the props was completed to perfection and i must say it must have been tough to dance effortlessly like they did wearing those costumes but it sent a message out and thats one of the reasons why i love Shannon Mather. Another thing that makes this number amazing is that i dont think ive ever heard that cover to Crazy in love and just the way the person sings it adds emotion and meaning to the song. Thank you for sharing your amazing gift with us. Just the creativity in every number Mather Dance Company completes is out of this world! Words are not enough to describe how much i love this and many others!! Mather Dance Company just keeps on getting better!

This is just one of those pieces by Shannon that absolutely stun you. There's so much beauty, yet it contrasts with the stark ugliness that's being depicted throughout the dance. The dancers movements tell you exactly what's going on & it's like they've lived through it before and when you can have a choreographer and the dancers create that, it exemplifies art. This is definitely one of best groups I've ever seen. Shannon continues to out do herself, and she's one of the best choreographers the States has.
