This is why Mathew Jonson is one of the few "live hardware" guys who gets paid well and travels the world for it. It's no longer about putting out a record or 2 and just jamming with a 909 and 303 and some effects at every event. If you perform live with analog and digital hardware involved - you HAVE to make sure that your levels and clarity match those of the software-based live show guys. The discipline to level match, normalize, read meters, etc is the price to pay if you want to play live at big events.
