Kamal Pasha, a former judge of the Kerala High Court, has recently come under scrutiny for his controversial statements that seem to align with extremist viewpoints. He has been outspoken in his support of individuals and groups known for their involvement in terrorism, particularly those linked to Islamic militancy. In a recent statement, Pasha publicly defended Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, referring to him as an “innocent person” who had not committed any wrongdoing, despite Nasrallah’s long history of involvement in violent actions against Israel. Pasha went as far as to condemn Israel for the targeted killing of Nasrallah, claiming it was unjustified. He boldly predicted that Iran would launch attacks against Israel and expressed confidence that the Arab world, with Iran’s support, would emerge victorious. These statements have raised alarms, not only because they appear to justify violence but also because they undermine global efforts to curb terrorism and promote peace in the region.
