MATHEWS V3 TUNING | Swapped My Top Hats | Should You Do This?

Great video! I shoot a V3. I invested in a press and draw board this past January and I have become an even bigger fan of Mathews ever since. The top hat system makes it so easy to tune. One thing that I think is interesting is the topic of cam lean. Josh Jones has a great video on KZbin where he swaps out all the top hats on a Mathews and sets a laser on the cam to show alignment. And this is interesting because with the Mathews the top hat it is addressing horizontal tares and cam lean at the same time. Whereas a Hoyt you’d adjust twists in the yoke cables. Thanks for making this video, couldn’t agree more.

The Mathews top hat system has grown on me, but there are definitely other systems that I prefer as far as horizontal tuning. Thanks for watching the channel.

Honestly I have a Mathews V3 are to me it seems harder to tune then other bows. Bowtech with their deadlock cam system is literally the best and easiest way to tune a bow for broadheads.

Do you have to change both the top and bottom top hats? Or can you just change the top?

I have a BOWTECH. Wt the deadlock cams. No bow press. But i was shooting bullets out of the box.

Nock tune your arrows they have weak spots in spine
