I think that for people who were Canibus fans like myself, the end of this interview really resonated. "Look, Can-I-bus is platinum. It's not gold no more. I think it's double platinum. It's double platinum! 25th year anniversary. 'Clef didn't do a bad job the way that, Hip Hop went a bit little too hard, they never sat and thought for a second. Everyone said what Canibus could've been, but wasn't none of 'em tryin' to help except 'Clef".

I find it hard to believe Bus didn’t have the opportunity to work with DJ Premier Havoc Swizz Beatz and other producers that would have made absolute fucking classics, I really wanna know what happened with this dude and the industry

Canibus was killing it on the mixtape circuit. Why? Cause he could rhyme his ass off over dope instrumentals. Clef tried to take him somewhere his fans didn’t want to go.
