Imagine being the RIGHT HAND to one of the greatest artists, arguably the GREATEST of all time?? And then having him around , being in the area when he got killed..having to be around to watch your best friends two seeds grow and having to tell then stories because he was taken away waaayy too soon.... I'm not religious, but God touched this man...

Everyday struggle is definitely my favorite Big song. And Nas is the greatest MC hands down, never forget he was like 17 when he wrote illmatic. To me that album is more intricate than anything Big ever did. But when it comes to charisma and Flow, and ease of flow, I don't think anyone touches Big.
@ShaunBedgood2 жыл бұрын
Not more intricate than Ready to Die. That was a full on concept album.
@respectlife2162 жыл бұрын
@@ShaunBedgood literally way more intricate than ready to die. Lyrically and song for song it's better. It also is generally regarded as the greatest hip-hop album of all time, whereas ready to die is a classic, but not in that conversation.

No artist did what big did or had the power biggie had.The west coast was killing NYC in sales biggie came in and change the game
@respectlife2162 жыл бұрын
@@jamar95little24 doesn't make him a better MC than Nas though. And I would argue Wu-Tang brought the East Coast back before Big's rise. He definitely had the charisma and everything, which is what made him popular. But even back then Illmatic was considered a work of art. To be fair, back when big was alive this was a better debate. Since his body of work is so little, it doesn't even compare to NAS who has like five or six classic albums. And honestly Nas is just better.
@jamar95little242 жыл бұрын
@@respectlife216 rza told ghostface and Rae if you go at biggie you better come correct.Big took more shots at Nas than Jay-Z did.Nas knew big could give it to him however he wanted.Dudes was jealous of biggie cause big had the streets and clubs.Big did come out with a track directed at pac.But everyone gravitated towards biggie why you think the streets and hip hop gave him the title king of ny big didn't ask for it he took it like he said I want my spot back.
