Pinning down details with someone whose high on the narcissism spectrum is always gonna be hard. Interviews with Joe are usually filled with people asking for clarity, them attempting to summarize and him telling them that they're wrong and don't understand but rather actually clarifying fully, he gives some vague answer that frames him as the victim or the crusader fighting for justice.

Joe Budden may be a great and I do mean great artist, but to ask that man to speak on things from a introspective authentic truthful standpoint can be arduous for me the listener and the interviewer(maybe). His responses are vague, full of innuendo and deflections, he presents at first glance as authentic until he is asked direct questions, than the guards come up, and any criticism directed at him is met with cocky passive aggression. I didn't feel like I learned anything from what he said, it was a verbal version of a Labyrinth.

Shout out to Math for respectfully not letting Joe slide and pressing him. I think Joe believes his own story, but that dont make it true.. i think Crook is being the most honest on this. Joe wasnt happy so Joe bounced on the group and left an unfinished album with ONE disgruntled member that Shady couldnt release and market until Joe came back to the table. The other members understood being under Shady gave them the worldwide audience, no matter how good you rap that Shady Cipher got you 20 million views. Joe even said they had the best of the best super producers for Glass House, thats Shady Records doing that....

@@KD_SWAGGER It ain’t gonna get leaked by Joell or Crooked. Maybe Joe, I doubt Royce too. Some producers haven’t been paid for their beats yet. They don’t want to do that. Moreover, if it does get leaked, they will be the prime suspects for the investigation. Interscope ain’t gonna just let it slide. Nobody wants that kind of heat or drama. Joe should just pony up and make Shady an offer to pay for full ownership and release it. He won’t. He cares about himself only. [x]

Was joe publicly shitting on shady during 2015 though?? Bc theres a diff between, moving behind close doors and moving publicly, when it comes to this bussiness. Which is what i think hoff was alluring to? Like yes bts, joe was expressive, but the other members still believe they can reel him back, and since em really fucks w 3/4 of them he was willing to wait. But when joe did his thing on the pod. Thats when its finally done. But as joe stated he was already done in his mind, he just never explicitly said it to his brothers... joe has the tendancy to move like this... ex: sending joell the eyes 👀.. he plays mental gymnastics, n then hides behind, "yall just dont see it like joe" but when pressed to show us what he sees, he responds with " those who knows, knows"... I could b wrong though, and maybe joe has always publicly shitted on shady, during 2015. But i dont remember it to b the case, in fact he had an interview where he commended em for his song "rock bottom" saying how at one point in his life those words spoke to him personally, and that he wasnt good enough at that point in his life to come up with that.

What I've learned from Joe when people interview him, is that he will never give you the surface answer to ANYTHING. I can understand how frustrating that can be and how people will write that off as "mental gymnastics", because its never a cut and dry answer to a lot of things that Joe is asked when that's what most people want from him. I am similar in that regard, and it comes from not wanting to be taken out of context or leave things open to other people's interpretation of what you said.

Him refusing to give surface answers doesn’t stop people from misinterpreting his answers. Moreover, it sounds like some coy political BS. Don’t give people direct answers then agrue over the vagueness of the actual answer given. It’s frustrating to deal with. [x]

What was so UNCLEAR about what Joe said? Yall just roll with ANY narrative. He said he DID the album AND 2 mixtapes even after seeing business was BAD. He put out another album, SOLO... RETIRED. STILL NO ALBUM. THEN.... 2-3 years later, he speaks on Eminem's album, which was TRASH, on Everyday Struggle. HOW are yall misconstruing ANY of this or say he's dancing? THIS IS PLAIN ASS ENGLISH.

You can be more than 1 thing, people are not as monolithic as we try to make them. Joe is CLEARLY a narcissist and it shows daily in basic banter....its exhausting honestly. A point A to B convo turns into gymnastics of the universe. A clear narcissist tactic. While he is an underrated emcee and makes many great points when it comes to business an certain life events.......anytime we get to where he is clearly the problem, he ain't the problem lol smh.

Take the Gate off on the audio. When the person speaking is quiet, it gets way too quiet and sound cuts out. If you have lots of people talking at once, then keep it on, but lately you don’t need it. Change it on your machine.

There is other noise that you don't want in the audio it's not just people talking there is background noise from outside air noise from the heater or AC some things you can't just EQ out so you make the gate open at a certain DB rate...quite is good trust me

People saying that Joe doesn’t directly answer questions or goes through mental gymnastics are not hearing the answer they want to hear. The man is giving his answer. Also being in media he understands how shit can get out hand with the wrong response, and now you have to talk about shit in depth that you didn’t want to talk about in depth.
