We all have our fav's from Jay-Z, Cole, Kendrick, etc. We know what they can do, but who's to say that the next generational talented rapper is not gone be someone that's having their lyrics wrote by AI. What if in 5 or 10 years, when were crowning the next GOAT, and it comes out that AI wrote they tops hits?

Yes they can provide lyrics but it'll never do what the human mind can do. As far as rhythm, Flow, originality. They can't rap a REAL life because its A.I. Music has always been about expressing who you are and what YOU been through. Although the origin has been lost due to the business of it, Music will always be something personal.

The people who think like what you just posted don’t understand that they aren’t the target audience anymore. They don’t give a shit about who writes what or where tf it comes from as long as it’s LIT they gonna fuck with it. @KevinTheCardigan
@KevinTheCardigan Жыл бұрын
Rappers from the 00s 90s 80s and 70s didn't have this massive boom in volume to compete against. You think one good quality album every 3-4 years is going to get an artist attention nowadays? Unless they're already famous, it's not. The way the new generation will succeed in their music careers is through copyright ownership and quantity. Artistry is in creation, not in recitation. Ask Lil Wayne so recite some of his lyrics for you, he probably can't. Recite some of Lil Wayne's lyrics back to him and ask him what song it's from. He probably couldn't tell you either. The whole idea of reciting your handful of popular songs over and over again for people is an idea that's slowly dying and will not be around one day. I seen Barry Manilow still performing the same songs that he made popular in the 70s... the 2070's sure won't have artists performing songs from the 2020s I'll tell you that much.

Symba is right... The Music industry took L's from napster. Even after they sued them into the ground. Because the thing that was a problem for them wasnt napster. It was the technology that made music easy to share. It forced them to get in on the easy sharing of music game in order to compete. AI Generated music clones make an artists voice a commodity. You used to only get a track when that artist could put in the work. Now you only need words and a beat. Artists will not be able to shut it down because the consumer believes they own you. There are songs we fans never got in the 90's because of rap beef and rappers dying. Now its possible for a good song writter to work with an AI to create a PAC and Biggie album that touches on topics after they died. Their are simply too many song ideas than there is time for artists to do them all, and fans want all of it.

What Mecc gotta understand is that social/digital currency in the form of attention is what the new Gen thrives in. They not worried about lawsuits because infamy can be just as powerful and like Symba said they can turn all attention into something they can sell or build collaborations because of that level of infamy the way these organizations crave clicks and numbers they will onboard that talent just because it will bring them new eyes. Think of the Island Boys situation Companies love gimmicks and this is gonna turn out gimmick after gimmick to buy attention
