A friend of mine does stage & light design. They've done stages for Slash's Snake Pit and some other project(wasn't velvet revolver)that at least Slash and Duff were part of...he said that Slash is the coolest, most genuine rock star hes done work for. Slash would alway order food and beer for the crew...and 1st day would ask "how many vegetarians, any vegans? Anyone who doesnt drink? Any special religious dietary restrictions?" He said it seemed like Slash REALLY enjoyed feeding people. When I was 10, 11 whatever when they dropped Appetite Slash was a big deal because he is a workhorse guitarist. Now all these years later...Im 47 and i hear that Slash feeds his stage and light design crew and that makes him an even bigger deal to me.

Yeah...I was prolly 12 when I got the Pink Floyd bug. But what a bug it's been...and through Pink Floyd I've been turned on to so many other bands that I love.
