I wonder why this channel has only 300 subscribers. The content is really good and helpful , clears every concept.🙌🏼

In the objective function(of the first trim loss problem @6:00) it should be 1x5. thanks for the content :)

Hello Thanks for great this great Playlist. In the minute 6:07 you mentioned min Z = 4x1 + 3x2 + x3 + 0x4 + 0x5 + 2x6. Isn't x5 wrong? shouldn't it multiply by one(1) because we are modeling trim loss per unit of length?

Why aren’t you adding coefficients to the constraint variable? 10:39

Ma'am why the constraints are in greater than or equal to form?

Because in statement it is not mentioned exact quantity, availability and demand are given. So these are upper or lower bounds, and not the exact value. If some question we have exact data then we do take equality constraints.

Mam I am getting one more pattern as 3 rolls for 5 ft width 0 rolls for 7 ft width 0 rolls for 9 ft width And wastage as 5 feet But you haven't included it Can you explain mam Actually getting 9 different patterns mam

3 rolls for 5 ft will get you total 15 ft, remaining can't be wastage, as you can take still some roll. Similar in other cases.

That's the different ways you can combine the number 5,7 and 9 together without exceedingly the value 20. All you can get are shortages and no excesses.
