Meethi Mathri is a delectable sweet and spicy flaky snack that goes well with a hot cup of tea. These crispy meethi mathri are easy to make, all you need is all purpose flour, sugar, sesame seeds, semolina and some spices to knead a tight and deep fry them until golden brown. You can store them in an air-tight container and enjoy them for 1-1.5 months.
INGREDIENTS :
All Purpose Flour(Maida)- 350g
Sugar- 150 g
Semolina(Sooji)- 65 g
Sesame Seeds(Til)- 80 g
Black Cardamom(Boro Elach)- 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder- 1/4 tsp
Black Pepper Powder- 1 pinch
Vegetable Oil- 90 ml
Water(room temperature)- 1/2 cup
Vegetable Oil(for deep fry)- as required
