Combined Variation - Grade 9 (2ND QUARTER)

This video will demonstrate how to solve problems bout combined variation.
This will also give you the idea on how to find the constant of the variation and equation of variation.
Combined variation describes a situation where a variable depends on two (or more) other variables, and varies directly with some of them and varies inversely with others (when the rest of the variables are held constant).

a real life example of combined variation: The more gas we fill in a car means that it's mileage will increase, however the money in your wallet will decrease the gas you fill in the car.

Real-Life Example of Combined Variation: If the number of tomatoes harvested in the farm increases, the amount of tomatoes located in the market would also increase. However, the price of tomatoes will decrease due to high supply and abundance of tomatoes produced. On the other hand, if the number of tomatoes produced in the farm decreases, then the amount of tomatoes available in the market would also decrease but the price of tomatoes will increase due to shortage and insufficiency.

Real-Life Example of Combined Variation The more we read books the more knowledge we get however, when we read to much, the more possibility there is of ruining our eyesight. In the same way, when we read less we get less knowledge but at the same time we lessen our chances of ruining our eyesight.

real life example of combined variation: When the businessman started his business with effort, has all of the input materials for his product, and good attitude towards his small business most likely to happen that consumers will be persuaded, like and consume his products. Then after a month of having a good run on his business he has a lot of income and the demand of his products are gaining because of his effort in the business. After a year on his business most likely to happen the business man will experience struggles in handling his business like he will lose customers, his attitude towards his business is being careless and there will be shortage of materials for his products.

Real-life example: - When an item has a high demand more people are going to create it then the more people would buy the item but the price would be low so the chances to be bought are rather high. - Another example is gasoline, there are less and less places to get these, but the need for gas is high due to the amount of items that need gas in the world, so the price has to get higher because high demands but low or too little sources to get the gasoline.
