Can you please do an episode where you go more into depth about imaginary numbers in more of a higher mathematical sense? This was a topic that always confused me to no end. I just couldn’t figure it out. It got way too abstract and I’m sure I just didn’t have a good professor that could explain it. Plus, this was over 12 years ago, so maybe it was me too. Anyway, I’m willing to take another crack at it.

I think the electrical quantities like a.c source, resistors inductor and capacitors are represented by complex numbers.

Roots are where the solution crosses the X axis for a quadratic equation. where are the imaginary roots located on the XY plot ?

If they are imaginary---they would not exist. No one would know they are there.

Really really inreresting! but why do you keep repeating yourself? I'm 10 minutes intgo the viceo (25%) and all i've learnt is that i-squared = -1.
