Mathura ji ka Prasiddh Peda
Serving size:4-6
Ingredients:
For Boora:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ghee/ clarified butter
Recipe:
On a pan add sugar and water, mix well. On high flame boil it to make a thick syrup. When the syrup starts drying add ghee and stir well continuously and when it dried completely,take it out on a plate to cool completely. Boora is ready. You can store it in an airtight container for months.
Ingredients for peda:
2 cup of mawa
1/2 cup of boora
Recipe:
Use a heavy bottomed pan. Take mawa in it and stir continuously. First it will start melting and after sometime it will start tightening again. Stir it consistently till it dry and color comes to golden brown. Now take it out on a plate and rest it to cool. When it comes to room temperature add boora and mix it well to make like a dough. Now as you want make pedas from the dough.
