Even if it were easier he doesn't have to. I LOVE parry mechanics in games but I mostly refuse to block if I have the option. Blocking slows down the momentum and pace of combat. Especially if you play very aggressive

Couple tips: In the accesibility tab, you can toggle the game to automatically pick up loot and jump over gaps. You can also configure the quick turn from there. And the dauntless shield “stores” the energy to be released by double-tapping L1

Durlin's reaction to Faye's death has always seemed so sad and overlooked to me. Considering the kind of person she was, and how much of a positive influence she had on anyone she met, how hard is it to imagine that she and Durlin were very close, trying to free his people from Odin's grip? And now he is alone, a bit of a crazy outcast and an alcoholic, traumatized by his failure, and on top of it all he now has the loss of a truly good friend to deal with. Usman Ally did such a great job with that scene😢

PRO TIP >> Armor >> All armor in Ragnarok can be upgraded to level 10 and different armor sets will provide different combat advantages (like realm shift, or poison, or fire resistance, or increased melee damage, etc) Many of them work automatically and don't require any button pressing.

Just some tips : 1. If your Block break you can Use Rage for Cancel the animation to prevent getting Hit 2. Perfect Parry (When your Shield is red) can Stagger Enemy Attack like Yellow Ring or even Red Ring. 3. New Mechanic like Charging axe or Blade Whiplash is quite good at Damage use it Often. In this game you should always have a third eye open looking for secrets and stuff! There's plenty of loot scattered across the maps! The loot and upgrades are very important in this game! Also don't forget to use ∆ to frost or ember your weapons!

You should already have quick turn! I think they changed it though from just down on the d-pad to L1+down on d-pad. Also! The parry window will change depending on the shield you use. The Dauntless shield that you picked has a much smaller window than before since it's meant to reward perfectly timed parries. (You will charge the shield bash more the better you time the parry. At full charge, it glows red/orange, and at lower charge it glows more yellow)

30 min in and I am. Not sure if you learned it already but the shelields will gather energy when parrying/blocking , if you double tap L1 you can unleash it's special attack

Mati- one change from last game to this game…when you stun an enemy and the R3 prompt is displayed, if it’s RED, hitting R3 will kill the enemy. If it’s YELLOW, R3 will do lots of damage, but not kill it. So you may want to give it a few hits and change it to red, then hit R3. If you go into the options/settings menu, it tells you how to do the quick turn-around. I forget how, since it’s been a while. The Kavasir poems all refer to PlayStation games. The first one you came across talked about a woman from unknown origins with red hair, and slaying behemoths…all referring to Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, and an amazing game you should check out, if you haven’t already.
