i love how we see the same products in different videos, it isn’t “repetitive” it’s realistic, most people don’t change foundations or things like that every time they do their makeup and it’s nice seeing that reflected in your videos 💕

You inspired me to adopt the minimal makeup philosophy, and I confess I loved it! When I ran out of foundation, I decided not to repurchase it. My skin is much better after my anti-acne treatment and is looking so great that I'm just wearing lipstick, mascara and some concealer when my under eyes are too dark. Hello! I wanted to tell you - you have convinced me to go on a “no buy makeup” for all of 2020. You’ve taught me to appreciate each product that I have, enjoy mini products, and use all products in versatile ways. I honestly have more than enough makeup to last me for a whole year. I get asked about storage a lot but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable filming my collection - I just prefer to make more concise reviews based on a concept or theme. I don't have anything to motivate you either, I need motivation myself! 😂 My products are just divided up in small boxes inside bathroom drawers, or in empty candles or glass jars, but I'm hoping to get some proper drawers next year x

Ooh! Such perfect timing! Was packing my makeup/skincare travel bag yesterday! Love that Chanel Eau de Teint, this year I have only used that or the Westman Atelier Stick as my foundation, agree with you on a mini size being handy if they release one! Also love that CDP concealer, that and the concealer I showed you yesterday are my top favourites (opposite end of the $ spectrum, but very similar finish, despite different formulations). That Bobbi Brown looks gorgeous! Love sheer shades the most, I'm a bit useless with "real lipstick", despite recently buying 9 Lisa Eldridge lippies, haha. For my recent trip to Europe, I brought with me the following: Tarte Weekenders Contour palette, It Cosmetics matte CC cream, Kat Von D tattoo liner, Clinique PowerPoint mascara, 2 lip tints (1 from Neuteogena & Clinique Black Honey lipstick). I also took a lip balm with SPF protection. I brung 3 make-up brushes that each has multi-purpose brushes in them. Like for example, It Cosmetics has an eye shadow brush, where you click up & down the brush, & the other side of the brush is an eyeliner brush.

Really appreciate that, but unfortunately I prefer not to make any videos about my personal life. My style is more about the content itself than the creator ☺️👍 But I can tell you I started working for myself this year which gives me the flexibility to go where the work is, but budgeting is something I'd never feel comfortable discussing because everyone does it differently - the beauty of travel is that it can be done on almost any budget, it's just about deciding what's important to you! Hoping to reintroduce more travel videos in the new year x

Hourglass' Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette is a favorite for me when traveling. Can be used for face powder, eyeshadow, bronzer, and blush. I know you're more of a cream product gal ;) but if you find yourself wanting to dabble a bit in powders, this formula is beautiful and leaves a luminous glow. All the colors are usable. Just came back from Vienna and Lisa Eldridge's lipsticks were awesome because I rarely needed to touch up in between all the street food and mulled wine! Happy Holidays Matilda! :)

Speaking about myself, I have one of each item except for lipsticks so I repeat almost everything everyday. Repeating is better for pockets and better for the environment :-) And yes, would love to see updated skincare for travel!

Just purchased the Cle de Peau concealer having found it in Harrods and it is every bit as good as you say... just wow!! And part of my travel bag for next weekend for son’s wedding!! Bobbi Brown Ruby is next on my list too 💄 think it will the perfect muted shade for a winter wedding lip colour. I'm off to Curacao just after new years. I think I'll be taking the RMS uncoverup, and buriti bronzer, Charlotte Tilbury beach stick in moon beach, Glossier's boy brow and generation g lipstick in cake, I might throw in a couple of powder shadows just to have and maybe Mac's soft and gentle highlighter for evening dinners. Burt's Bees mascara or some cheap waterproof Maybelline mascara. And...I think that does it! But brands like Charlotte Tilbury, RMS, and Glossier have such easy to use products that I feel like my whole routine is going that way, and especially during travel they overtake my bag!

We do have a lot of products in common, especially the light Chanel water foundation plus nudestix stick that I ordered after watching a video of yours and also super pacted eyeshadow plus cream two in one, but not of Tom Ford. Mines are of Dose of colors and Dear Dalhia (a Korean brand) plus lipsticks of course !

Have you tried the drunk elephant sunshine drops? I would say it’s similar to the chantecaille and I love it! It’s a small bottle but a small amount goes a long way. Perfect for traveling. I have such a hard time choosing what to bring with me when I go away, don’t know how you do it haha!

I have, but don't find it similar to Chantecaille - the full size Drunk Elephant tube is a lot bigger than this one, and it has more of a shimmery effect so it's only something I mix into my skin tint, I don't apply it as a bronzer ☀️ x

I think Santa is going to leave the Chanel skin tint under my tree seeing as I just ordered it. Like you, I’m not a foundation fan and even find Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer a little full-on for everyday coverage wise. Looking forward to trying this. Truly enjoy your posts.

Matilda I love your videos so much! I’ve recently been transitioning to clean beauty, and because of you I have tried and loved the Lip2cheek from RMS! I’m super pale and I just use Spell. Sometimes I use one of the lip shines as a blush too if my combo skin is incredibly dry that day. But if not for you, I’d never have found RMS! Thanks for your hard work. Have you ever tried Ere Perez? I know they’re a Mexican-Australian brand. I like their concealer a lot better than RMS.

The Chanel low beige tint shocked me😲. When I saw you pour it out it didn't seem like it would match your skin tone😦, but what a beautiful glowy match🌻🌞😮. It's like one of those shades that suits all skin tones.

i always watch everytime i see one of ur videos because i do my makeup on the car (i know kinda horrible but i’m in the passenger side!) and i always have trouble with what to bring because “WHAT IF I NEED THIS OR THAT” so it ends up being a huggeee bag. this makes me think about what i truly need and what i can really leave behind. also makes me want to change my whole routine to just cream blush 🥺
