In my book the soundtrack by Harold Faltermeyer totally makes up for any failings of the actual movie, also Russell in drag as close second.

Arnold started buying property in the early 1970s and was rather well off by the 1980s. Stallone might have wanted his character to associate himself with being money savvy?

Paul, you are SO wrong here. It’s so bad good. But mostly good. I don’t know where you heard this movie was remembered badly. I couldn’t even listen to this. Not gonna say 5 stars. But you’re so wrong on most people thinking this movie isn’t good. That’s why the others were confused. I’m 46. And I can guarantee you 3/4’s of people my age loved this movie. Probably more.
