Every Culture on the planet has drum culture. The Drum being the oldest instrument beside the human voice. What is different the way the drums are made so they sound different. But the Art of it the customs and the traditional skits that tell stories of Famous Battles or to bring people to order (Drums have a way hypnotizing people to attention) Tribal tribals are very specific you Tribes drums would sound different to the neighboring Tribe that way you knew it was either time of celebration or a time of war, Not sure what is so rudimentary about any percussion. The Rhythms tell a story a complex story if you cant hear that the you stick to Pat boone.
