Man Matoi... never thought much about her until i played episode 1-3 and she honestly one of the sweetest characters ever. Love that girl to death. Another character that i actually came to love was Klariskrays! Well the current one, she become very endearing and now i find whenever she calls me bonehead to be the sweetest thing ever lol

From my over 10 years of playing RPG and MMORPG game Matoi is clearly among the very best Heroine out there It true that, her "Normal Girl" persona made her become more mild toward everyone compare to her badass past self but the moment we realize why she want to have her current personality combined with how EP2 end justify her place as one of the very solid character out there.

​@@Zeomantic She has very little presense in EP1 so most people sleep on her. EP2 change everything and SEGA did a great job with all those emotional scene her Voice actor ( not sure about NA but her JA voice sound like she is broken full of regret and about to cry for real )

Matoi is easily one of my favorite characters in PSO2, and I’m not saying that because she is a waifu. I really hope she returns in New Genesis considering how important she is. Also you’re a brave man for going through some of those story scenes again; I would not be able to watch Matoi getting stabbed or killed again.

Personally I feel Matoi’s chances of returning are high. She is essentially a second protagonist given her importance to the story and her importance to the main protagonist.

Probably. Episode 4 pretty much confirmed that cryosleep is a thing, and it looked like there were a decent amount of those cryosleep pods when we see the main character wake up.

I remember going back and forth with players of Phantasy Star online 2 about wether or not the anime had any unique story beats outside of the games. I was just clingy in defending the anime and they were calling it pointless if you've already played the game. Maybe it is just the presentation, humor and fan service.

Global was only about mid-way through episode 4, plus the Steam version had only been out for a few weeks at the time I made this. I didn't want to give away too much, especially things in the latter episodes, out of respect for the folks who were just coming into the game at the time. The earlier videos from August to around November of 2020 were made to tell people about some things in the Oracle universe and encourage them to learn more on their own.

the last one you mean "PSO2 the Animation" ??? that one is just a side story exist between EP3 and EP4 while the recent anime "Episode Oracle" is EP1-3 minus Amduscia and Harukotan probably due to how they try to cram EP1-3 inside 24 episode รt clearly better if you understand PSO2 plot to certain degree what they lack is action scene which is somehow disappointing low...
